Subject Santa Clara Ave/Central Ave. to 118 Public Comments

Date Mon Aug 7 22:11:
Author RMikos for Environmental Coalition (EC) (contactme@roseann-mikos.org)

File: SantaClara118comments.doc

Look at the file named "SantaClara118comments.doc" above for formal comments submitted by Roseann Mikos on behalf of the EC to Ventura County Public Works on August 4th.

These comments point out the fallacy in reviewing & assessing impacts for this one project separately from other RELATED projects--when in fact this and many other connecting projects ARE ALL RELATED and should be analyzed and assessed together for cumulative impacts to the regional corridor between Moorpark and the Port of Hueneme.

Review carefully to try to understand what some decision-makers are trying to do to circumvent the normal environmental review process for huge road expansions like this. Complain to your local supervisor.

Moorpark and Somis will pay the steepest price if the proper environmental review is not done. And so far, it is NOT being done.
