RE: Proposed Happy Camp Flood Channel "Improvements" (November, 2006)
Comments starting November 2006 address this new proposed project, about which Dr. Mikos has serious concerns that it will cause more flooding problems than it will solve, if permitted to go forward as planned. Stay tuned. Please comment, if you can.

The official public hearing for a Final Mitigated Negative Declaration (yet to be published by the Ventura County Watershed Protection District) will be on Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at 10:00am (time certain). The Ventura County Board of Supervisors will be conducting the hearing in Ventura at 800 S. Victoria Ave. at the Ventura County Government Center in the board's hearing room on the ground floor. I plan to be there and hope that the proposed project will have been significantly changed by then to address the flaws that I strongly believe are in the plan. Stay tuned.
